Complex sets of gears keep an internal furnace within Klinkdoom's core lit, fueling its burning-hot fire breath. All three heads can expel blazing fire at once, but this leaves Klinkdoom immobile for a short time as it replenishes its heat stores.

In a Klinkdoom pack, the one with its horns raked sharply back serves a leadership role. The gear with the red core is rotated at high speed for a rapid energy charge.
