It slowly drags itself along the shallows of seas, using its tentacles to hold itself in place during rough waves. These tentacles are also covered with paralytic spores, and Lilsect uses them to capture prey.

Lilsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. It disguises itself as seaweed by making its tentacles sway.
