They crawl out of magma pools using their arms to hunt. If threatened, a Magtross can hide under its shell, but as the shell is merely hardened skin, it's brittle and not the best for defense. Most will try to escape back into the lava instead.

With their sucker mouths, they suck in prey. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
