Magsea makes its home in small lava pools, using its flame breath to roast small insects that fly too close. If it spots a predator, it spews smoke instead, concealing it for long enough to dive back into its pool.
By cleverly flicking the fins on its back side to side, it moves in any direction while facing forward. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
