Magish live in craters, plugging themselves into any vents that they can find. Volcanic gasses build up within the blocked vents, eventually launching them high into the air like a mortar.
Magish glide along the slopes of recently erupted volcanoes, consuming rocks that contain heavy metals and leaving behind soil primed for new plant growth. Island communities prize them for their restorative capability post-eruption.
It loves to eat damp, composted soil in forests. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
