Magsel has little way to defend itself aside from its body heat, so it steals the shells of Magcargo. It knows these shells are quite brittle, so it breaks them over its opponent's head and escapes in a cloud of dust and smoke.
A Magsel scales trees by punching its hooked claws into the bark. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
