Walking home late at night, townsfolk are sometimes startled by large eyes suddenly looming out of the dark beyond streetlamps. Their terror subsides into annoyance when they realize it is just a Masquetox attracted to the light.
It is a nocturnal Pokémon that flies from fields and mountains to the attraction of streetlights at night. It intimidates foes with the large eyelike patterns on its antennae.
