Metatar is sealed within an iron shell, but flies through the air by expelling pressurized gas. It often collides with objects and other Pokémon, but seems to calculate its trajectory so that it deflects off the surface rather than stopping.

A Metatar creates a gas inside its body that it ejects under compression to propel itself like a jet. Metatar has four brains that are joined by a complex neural network.
