Metaki sticks to trees, absorbing nutrients from the bark until it is ready to evolve. Metaki can be used as a keychain, but it makes little effort to protect itself beyond hardening its armor, so any keys placed on it are easily stolen.
It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime. Its shell is as hard as an iron slab.
