Mewpy love to quietly travel behind herds of Donphan, playfully mimicking one of their young. However, this often causes them to actually get adopted by a Donphan when spotted.

Mewpy bends psychic energy around its ears to increase their surface area and flaps them to help cool itself down in the heat. If it makes the psychic fans too big, the air pressure may lift it off the ground and Mewpy will start levitating.

Mewpy's big ears serve as broad fans. A Mewpy is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon.
