Mewsis love to be held and pet, seeking people and Pokémon to help fulfill this need. The core of their body is sensitive to external stimulation, and the blue gel surrounding them both protects the core and helps numb their senses.

Because their bodies are enveloped in a special liquid, they can survive in any environment. A Mewsis is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon.
