While rolling across the sea's surface, Minmer releases a strong electric current from its body. This often knocks out nearby water Pokémon without any intention on its part.

While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. At a meeting of Pokémon academics, it was announced that simultaneous exposure to electricity from a Plusle and Minmer will promote circulation and boost vitality.
