When enraged, Necropert uses its massive strength to create large, rough waves in the water and cause ships to capsize. To devour the light from the beacons lighthouses contain, it smashes the cliffs they stand on to topple the structure down to it.

If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
