Paradol's damp clay body is held together by a fungus growing on it and will crack if it ever dries out. To provide the fungus with fresh soil to feed on, Paradol digs holes in the ground with its legs, then buries itself up to its neck.

A Paradol sleeps while hovering in midair. Paradol are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
