Parakip regularly cover themselves in damp clay, plastering it over the mycelium growing over their skin. Researchers speculate they do this in an effort to reduce the itching that their parasitic growths cause.
On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving. Parakip are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
