Porywhirl are often found hiding within herds of Poliwhirl, imitating their movements and patterns. Porywhirl can produce a clear fluid similar to water, that is often used to incubate Fossil Pokémon.

Its body surface is always wet and slick with an oily fluid. It is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data in order to enter cyberspace.
