Poryring sits around and waits in cyberspace until it smells malware come by it. It then suddenly becomes very active and aggressively slashes at the virus until it has been destroyed.

Poryring stays close to Teddiursa to ensure their safety as they grow up. Upon spotting a predator, it lets out a horrifying beeping roar and shifts its body to a rough texture before charging.

In forests, it is said that there are many streams and towering trees where an Poryring gathers food. It is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data in order to enter cyberspace.
