Poryplume produce a unique pollen that smells like old plastic. While most Pokémon are not fond of the scent, many Pokémon found in cyberspace find the scent so appealing that they coat themselves in the pollen.

In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Poryplume turns yellow with the powder as it walks. It is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data in order to enter cyberspace.
