While it resembles a metal detector, Sabltom has the ability to locate buried gemstones as well as precious metals. While human treasure hunters have tried to make use of Sabltom, it is rarely willing to share anything it finds.

Its body is composed of plasma. It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems.
