For most of the year, Seedscoon hangs motionless from a tree, absorbing nutrients. When winter approaches, Seedscoon falls to the ground and buries itself underground until spring.

To avoid detection by its enemies, it hides motionlessly beneath large leaves and in the gaps of branches. It hangs off branches and absorbs nutrients.
