Ariaew can generate multiple strands of webbing at once in order to create quick webs for Spinarak. Since Ariaew's webbing takes on the form of a double helix, Spinarak can easily rest on it.
A Ariaew is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon. Its feet are tipped with tiny hooked claws that enable it to scuttle on ceilings and vertical walls.
