Sailors tell stories of seeing Omados in the midst of storms, wrestling with Wailord. Its tentacle-wings wrap around the large Pokémon, vanishing it into lightning-rich thunderclouds.

Snortor enjoys lazing out in the sun. Sometimes, its heads grow so large that it is unable to stand or raise its body.

Slugtwo rests inside of volcanoes, absorbing the lava into its body and rendering the volcanoes dormant. When Slugtwo awakens, a sudden and powerful eruption will follow.

Magkhan's stony pouch is full of high-nutrient lava meant to feed their young. Using shavings from their cooled magma has become a popular and expensive health trend.

Magnx act as surrogate mothers to abandoned eggs, incubating them and raising them. The Pokémon that hatch from these eggs return to visit these Magnx with gifts of appreciation.

Magbuzz exhibit very fine control over their temperature. By transferring all the heat from one arm to the other, they create a powerful thermoelectric current and unleash a flurry of blows, both hot and electric.

Magtwo seeks isolation from people and Pokémon. Using its psychic powers and volcanic body, Magtwo creates islands to the far north where travel is infrequent and dangerous. It abandons these islands whenever they are discovered.

Despite its heavy appearance, the shell on Magrill's tail is actually very light and hollow. Young Magrill use their tails as boats to safely float down lava flows and rivers.

Magdily are ambush predators. Living at the bottom of the sea, they allow their upper exterior to harden into stone. When it senses prey nearby, it launches out tentacles of lava, creating steam explosions that stun its prey.

Magchar will cool its body down while it is sleeping, causing it to resemble a statue. Its awakening with the sunrise is accompanied by a flash of light and loud cracking. Some mountain towns use this as a means of keeping time.

Magleon and their hatchlings live beside lava lakes. Whenever these lakes solidify, Magleon will march for miles in search of a new home. They are very particular about the makeup of the lava they live in.

Magslash are considered sacred in the Alola region. When they descend from their homes in the lava flows, they burn away the old foliage and leave behind fertile soil for new growth. This irregular event is celebrated with a festival.

Space telescopes have observed Magxys drifting above the upper atmosphere, where it orbits the planet for a while before launching itself back down to the planet. It is often mistaken for a meteorite.

To train itself, Magolu travels long distances while slowly increases the size and weight of the shell on its back. When two Magolu meet, they will drop their shells and engage in a friendly sparring match.

The magma of Magoo's body is very viscous, making them quite slow. To avoid capture from predators, Magoo detonate their shells, letting loose sharp obsidian shrapnel in all directions.

Groups of Hounx have been seen competing with one another through dancing and singing to determine hierarchy. These skills have made Hounx highly coveted by Pokémon Contestants.

At night, Yanmime have been mistaken for humans, wandering through swamps. People and Pokémon that make this mistake find themselves trapped in mazes of invisible barriers and incessant buzzing, unable to escape.

Chimcargo regularly consumes berries. Heat and pressure convert this food into a highly flammable gas as a byproduct captured in their shell. When in danger, Chimcargo can ignite this gas to create explosive eruptions.

Empomega concentrates the vibrations of its wings into the crests on its head, turning them into oscillating blades. They use these blades to cut their nests into icebergs and cliffsides.

Some people collect fragments from the shell of Clefcargo, believing them to have healing properties or provide good luck. These are rare, as Clefcargo often avoid humans and other Pokémon by living underground.

From the depths of the ocean, Bruxrai release psychic pulses into the minds of sleeping Pokémon, filling them with nightmares. These Pokémon are unable to get proper rest, leaving them too tired to escape Bruxrai's jaws.

The mushrooms on Paralurk's body feed on the energy from the core. The constant flow of energy prevents the core from detonating while also helping the mushrooms grow to massive sizes.

Carcargo are found in tunnels deep below the crust covered in glittering crystals. These crystals have become quite valuable in the tech sector for their heat resistance and clarity.

Pluszee tend to gather around powerful Pokémon in the wild, supporting them in battles. At night, Pluszee devours the dreams born from those victories.

Though their wings are small compared to their body, Charnair are powerful fliers. They enjoy flying through thunderstorms, cutting them open to show the blue sky behind them.

Charnite are keystone Pokémon in otherwise unstable environments. Their strength and altruistic tendencies lead to them being guardians and peacekeepers. Disturbing this peace will evoke Charnite's wrath.

Charterra use their tails to knock down trees and feed on the leaves. A herd of Charterra can completely change their environment, burning away old groves and leaving fertile clearings for new growth.

Cloycargo melt the stone of coastal shelves and fuse with the surface. They wait patiently for unsuspecting prey to pass by before spewing magma over their target, covering them in quick-cooling rock.
