While sleeping, Baldash resembles a clay figurine balanced on a spinning top. While awake it spins so rapidly it is hard to recognize, with fire flashing from its tail to generate a spinning tornado of reddish flames.
Baldash spins rapidly without stopping, even when sleeping. It's a popular pastime to place a few Baldash into a pit and see which is the last one to get knocked away.
