Blatu breathes fire out of its mouth and mostly uses this to cook shoots and leaves before it eats them. While its reach is limited by its small size, Blatu can leap towards foes to relentlessly attack them with both its beak and talons.

It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots. It learns martial arts that use punches and kicks.
