Bulbabink hide themselves by burying their heads in the ground, to resemble nothing more than a bulb. While this avoids the attention of many predators, it does not deter herbivores.

Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body. Bulbabink can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
