When hunting for prey at night, Chandelvile will only lightly touch it with its icy claws. This will convert its life force into fuel for Chandelvile's ghostly flames, eventually causing the victim to collapse, shivering with cold.
They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination. Being consumed in Chandelvile's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
