Crocosect searches for food on beaches, devouring anything that washes up or that it can find by digging. If its claws become too worn down, they will drop off so that new ones can replace them.
Crocosect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Once its jaws clamp down on its foe, it will absolutely not let go.
