Dugsect's body is controlled by a fungus growing inside it. Although it appears to have three heads, these light-sensing mushrooms all sprout from the same fungus, and share a single primitive intelligence.

Dugsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Because the triplets originally split from one body, they think exactly alike.
