Dustple covers trees in its toxic powder to prevent other Pokémon from eating the sap within them. When in cities, it creates strings of silk between streetlights to safely travel over roads and sidewalks.

It can only glide for short durations due to how small its wings are; when it flexes its wings, it scatters a highly toxic powder. Dustple feeds mostly on leaves while it is active at night, though it is easily distracted by bright lights.

It sticks to tree branches and eats leaves. It is a nocturnal Pokémon that flies from fields and mountains to the attraction of streetlights at night.
