Once a month, groups of Hounfairy will gather together and create a roaring fire, dancing around it beneath the moonlight. A Hounfairy unable to attend the gathering becomes inconsolably bitter and sullen until the next opportunity arises.

On every night of a full moon, they come out to play. In a Hounfairy pack, the one with its horns raked sharply back serves a leadership role.
