Although Lapking's spikes make it seem aggressive, it prefers to frighten away foes by roaring instead of fighting. If it is attacked, it will face away from the foe to protect itself with its shell, then strike back with swings of its tail.

A Lapking's thick tail packs enormously destructive power capable of toppling a metal transmission tower. People have driven Lapking almost to the point of extinction.
