The cannons that make up Lutoise shells are powered by photosynthesis. When enough light has been gathered, they will shoot out lightweight flower seeds that grow rapidly in water.
The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate. It requires a lot of effort to maintain Lutoise's vivid coloring, but some collectors enjoy this work and treat it as their hobby.
