Masqueskit secrete an oil from their legs that allows them to skate across the water. They move at high speeds, these rapid motions giving them the silhouette of an angry face, warding off predators.
They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding. It intimidates foes with the large eyelike patterns on its antennae.
