Nubat are fundamentally lazy fusion who primarily travel by riding hot air currents in volcanic cave systems. Despite being capable of producing flames, they will often produce little more than a cloud of boiling steam to deter enemies.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. A Nubat stores boiling magma in the hump on its back.
