Paloink's hard gears are coated with a layer of sand. Paloink will roam around beaches to grind up sandcastles, occasionally getting into conflict with Sandygast and Palossand after accidentally targeting them.
Interlocking two bodies and spinning around generates the energy they need to live. Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained.
