Paranaw pursues prey with intense focus. The only time it will ever release something it has seized in its toothy jaws is if the mushrooms on its head or back are targeted, as it seems to prioritize protecting those from harm above all else.

Once its jaws clamp down on its foe, it will absolutely not let go. Paranaw are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
