Paranoir travels to trees that are already infested with fungus, then patiently waits for the tree to die. As soon as this happens, Paranoir will use its large mouth to entirely devour it, from its branches to its roots.

The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there. Paranoir are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
