The mushrooms growing on its body are always shrouded in a shimmering cloud of spores. Although Paramar can create fires, it only does this in winter to prevent itself from freezing, as the fungus grows best in cool, damp environments.

In battle, it blows out intense flames from all over its body to intimidate its foe. Paramar are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
