It is said that its cries induce sleep, but this is actually the effect of the cloud of spores that surrounds it. While Paramagius usually uses these against foes, sometimes it will seek out insomniacs and grant them the gift of dreamless sleep.

Its cries sound like incantations. Paramagius are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
