Paraeye release a steady stream of glowing spores, coating the caves they live in with the spores. Their homes glow with an eerie orange light, allowing them to seek out exposed gem stones for consumption.
Paraeye live in underground tunnels, digging in the walls to search for plant roots to feed on. Anyone that ventures into these tunnels will be knocked unconscious by Paraeye's fungal spores, and will wake up covered with mushrooms.
It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems. Paraeye are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
