Parackle uses its claws to cut into the bark of berry bushes, feeding on their sap rather than on the berries they produce. The fungus within its shell ferments the sugar into alcohol, but this alcohol doesn't seem to have any effect on Parackle.

A Parackle hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries. Parackle are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
