Pararunt seek out frost-resistant mushrooms to wrap around their body during winter months, sheltering within the mushroom caps to wait out the cold weather. They leave a trail of spores as they travel, inadvertently spreading the fungi behind them.
Pararunt are always shivering. Not because they are cold or in discomfort, but because they are constantly shaking spores off of their mushy cloak.
They tend to move about in groups of around five Pararunt. Pararunt are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
