Paraskit glide across the surface of ponds, collecting and eating leaves that float on the surface. Whenever they approach the shore, the mushroom on their heads scatters spores that settle on the bank to produce more fungus.

They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding. Paraskit are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
