Paravile preys upon Grass-type Pokémon, hunting together with a group of other Pokémon infested with the same fungus. They are most active in winter, when their prey is likely to be dormant and vulnerable.

They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination. Paravile are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
