Paranaut can be found living within orchards, clutching fruit to the cap of their mushroom and allowing it to decompose. They let the sickly sweet juices trickle over their body, absorbing the sugars through their skin.

Paranaut will try to press the mushroom on its head against other people and Pokémon. This contact transfers spores from the fungus onto their bodies, eventually detaching to spread spores far and wide.

A Paranaut loves to eat sweet fruits. Paranaut are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
