In dark forests, Phantscoon bury themselves in the undergrowth near ancient tree stumps. They rely on the shadows and leaf litter to protect their fragile wooden shells.
To avoid detection by its enemies, it hides motionlessly beneath large leaves and in the gaps of branches. These Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died in the forest.
