Skreark are adept at disguising themselves and ambushing prey by using illusions to imitate other Pokémon. If they are ever identified, they will immediately flee, then hide by blending in with nearby plant life.

Each has the ability to fool a large group of people simultaneously. Camouflaged as rotten kelp, they spray liquid poison on prey that approaches unawares and then finish it off.
