Wild Skrerua use illusions to disguise themselves as vegetation, remaining completely still until prey approaches. They will then break the illusion to spray poison and pounce.

To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon. Camouflaged as rotten kelp, they spray liquid poison on prey that approaches unawares and then finish it off.
