Slabat spends most of its time perched on tree branches, feeding on fruit. If prey comes near, it will suddenly leap off and pursue them, flapping its wings at high speed. If Slabat does not catch them quickly, it will return to its tree.

Over the course of evolution, its hind legs turned into wings. Hordes of Slabat gather around trees when fruits come into season.
