Often found near rivers and ponds, Masquegon's wings and scales glimmer with a beautiful array of colors when wet. It is able to vibrate its wings rapidly while underwater to create a pulse comparable to a depth charge.

The flapping of its wings sounds like singing. It intimidates foes with the large eyelike patterns on its antennae.
